Important Information for users of Wrexham County Borough Council's Pest Control Services.

Bedbugs

Wrexham County Borough Council offers a free inspection and advice service for bedbugs. Call 01978 298989 to arrange for a pest control officer to visit.

Private tenants should report bedbug problems to their landlord. If the landlord is not prepared to carry out the treatment, then the tenant should contact us, providing us with all the landlords details, and we will contact them directly.

If a PCO visits and for any reason does not carry out treatment then a refund of £20 can be applied for. Extra nests - £16 (for up to 5 extra nests)		 £16.00 See below
Where the original nest requires re-treatment within 8 weeks (56 days) of the first treatment there will be no further charge. New/different nests will be charged at full price.

Other Pests

Treatment for the following pests is dependent upon the demands of the service and the circumstances of the infestation. At busy times priority will always be given to the pests named above:

Ants; Silverfish; Carpet beetle; Plaster beetle; Earwigs; Flies; Psocids and other stored food pests; Woodlouse

Commercial Properties

Standard Rate Contract Rate

£57.00 per hour, (minimum 1 hour).

Time over 1 hour charged 28.50 per half hour.

Plus cost of materials.

£47.00 per hour, (minimum 1 hour)

Time over 1 hour charged £23.50 per half hour
