Placing Skips on the Public Highway

Skip Licences

Only a skip owner or supplier can register to be able to put a skip on the highway (builders, householders wanting a skip please contact one of the Registered Skip Companies, details of which can be found below)

How to apply

Before placing skips on the highway, the owner or supplier must first be granted a licence under the Highways Act (it is not the responsibility of the builder or householder to obtain this licence).

We will require you register with Wrexham County Borough Council after which you will receive a copy of our Terms and Conditions and application form. A copy of your Public Liability Insurance of at least £5 million should be sent with your application.

You will need to fax or e-mail a completed application form to our Network Management Department.
