The Events Industry Forum
Useful website for event organisers.
In May 2013 the Forum launched a revised draft of 'the Purple Guide' for consultation which is designed to replace the original HSG195.
The new guidance is in an on-line publication format which is divided into Chapters dealing with different topic areas. The Working Groups set up to produce the new version will be kept in place to ensure that the guidance remains current. Although these new guidance documents have been produced by the industry, they have been developed in consultation with the various Government and enforcement authorities and it is anticipated that they will eventually provide a much more comprehensive guide than the original 'Purple Guide'.
