Post Pennington Reports and Action Plans

Professor Hugh Pennington chaired a Public Inquiry into the outbreak of E.coli 0157 which occurred in South Wales in 2005. He considered the implications for the future and made recommendations for all Local Authorities and Food Safety enforcement officers which were published in 2009.

The Food Standards Agency has recommended that local authorities respond to the recommendations and develop actions plans to enable the recommendations to be achieved.  Wrexham County Borough Council Post Pennington Report Action Plans are now available for 2009/10 and 2010/11 together with associated reports.
