Residents can have up to 2 240L/140L green bins collected fortnightly.

You can place any type of food waste into your kitchen caddy. Cooked, raw, frozen, out of date and plate scrapings. Only use compostable bags to line your caddy showing this logo. Your kerbside caddy will be collected on a weekly basis. If you require a replacement kerbside caddy and to purchase extra liners please contact: 01978 298989.

Compostable Liners

  • You can also purchase extra compostable liners from major supermarkets and some local shops. Never use plastic bags.
  • You do not have to use a compostable liner, you may put your food waste in loose.

Residual - Black /Blue Household Waste Bin

  • All household rubbish that cannot be recycled or composted must be placed in your black/blue residual waste bin.

We collect the black/blue household waste bin on a fortnightly basis from Wrexham homes. To check your collection day contact: 01978 298989.

Residents can have 1 240L bin collected fortnightly.
