When is my dustbin emptied?

There should be a sticker on the side of your bin which tells you on what day it will be emptied. If it is missing please contact us on: 01978 298989, or contact us online to make an enquiry.

How can I arrange to have a collection of large items ?

If you are unable to take them yourself to any of the civic amenity sites located throughout the county borough then please contact us: telephone 01978 298989 or arrange bulky item removal online. We will be able to advise on the removal of the items. Please note there may be a charge if the Council remove them for you.

Where is my nearest Civic Amenity Site or Neighbourhood Recycling Centre?

Reducing waste and recycling is important, because it stops materials from going to landfill, reduces pollution and saves natural resources and energy.

Wrexham County Borough has several civic amenity sites and neighbourhood recycling centres across the borough.

How can I report the non-emptying of my bin ?

If your bin was at the collection point for 7.30 a.m. and there were no obstruction or access problems, contact us: telephone 01978 298989, e-mail: contact-us@wrexham.gov.uk, or let us know online.
