
Programme for Alderman Samuel's admission as Freeman of the borough, 8th November 1911. Lunch on the day included: soup (clear oxtail), cold meats (roast beef, pressed beef, tongue), poultry and game (roast chicken and ham, boiled chicken, roast pheasants), sweets (creams, jellies, fancy pastries, trifle), cheese & salad and to finish tea and coffee.
