You are able to visit the A.N. Palmer Centre to the use the documents, microforms and printed sources free of charge. If you are unable to visit the A.N. Palmer Centre in person, we are able to undertake research on your behalf.
We are able to search original records, microforms and printed sources held at the A.N. Palmer Centre. Sources include parish, non-conformist and census records, electoral registers and newspapers
Types of searches undertaken
-
Specific enquiries - searching for entries in parish registers or census returns would require a straight-forward search e.g. To find the marriage of John Jones and Mary Davies at Wrexham 1750-1760
-
Longer searches e.g. newspaper searches, checking a combination of sources, information on a building and its occupancy
We cannot undertake research of a broad or general nature e.g. 'The growth and development of Wrexham'.

Information about the records and other sources we hold and how they can be used is free of charge. Requests can be submitted by telephone, post or e-mail.
