The story of Wrexham's soldiers, sailors and aircrew cannot be told by newspaper reports, television programmes, exhibitions and history books alone.
This webpage is for you commemorate your relatives, ancestors and friends service in the armed forces, both in past conflicts and those on active service now and to tell their stories.

"This is in memory of my Uncle Mr Harry Williams who went to Vietnam and ended up getting caught and was placed in a prisoner of war camp where he became very ill and lost his life. While he was there he was looked after by a Vietnamese woman on their medical wing. When he was rescued he ended up bringing this lady with him, they married, had a baby and lived happily together in Cardiff."

He went out to war as a young man and was shot while there and had to have his ear sewn back on, which was always a funny story as he was put on a maternity ward after the op and wondered what was going on when he woke up.
