Kibble

Kibble

Kibbles like this were used to carry materials up and down the mine shafts. This kibble was probably used for small loads or for use in a tiny shaft. Ore would be transported using a more substantial container. You can see a larger kibble in one of the pictures of the Meadow Shaft Engine House. Lent by Mr Selwyn Edwards.
