Minera Lead Mines : Visitor Information & Opening Times

Visitor Information

Do you know what kibbles, buddles and jigs are? Find out at Minera Lead Mines Visitor Centre, where you can learn more about the lives of the miners and explore where they worked at the remains of the 19th century lead processing works. As a bonus, on a clear day there are superb panoramic views across the Clywedog Valley from the top of the reconstructed Beam Engine House!

Discover the story of the lead miners of Minera, the village named after the ore beneath. Great heritage set in a country park below Minera Mountain and an ideal starting point for walking the Clywedog Trail. Guided tours available. Children’s activity trail. Admission free. Donations welcome.
