250th Anniversary of Thomas Telford's Birth

2007 is a special year as it is the 250th Anniversary of Thomas Telford’s birth. To celebrate this anniversary a number of events are being held across the country, led by the Institution of Civil Engineers. Thomas Telford was the first president of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
