Wrexham Symphony Orchestra WW1 100 Year Commemoration Concert

In a collaboration with the Royal British Legion (Wales), Wrexham Symphony Orchestra are joining in the national commemoration marking 100 years since the end of the Armistice in 1918. In fitting tribute to those who gave their lives during this war, the Orchestra's programme includes music and words from the period including Dartmoor 1912 from War Horse, music by Ravel, Panufnik Butterworth and Walton as well as poems by Wilfred Owen and others. The programme also includes a short act of commemoration with music by Edward Elgar. Members of the Royal British Legion will participate in a parade of standards and banners during the concert Description in Welsh
