Situated on the banks of the River Dee, Ty Mawr Country Park offers  panoramic views across the Vale of Llangollen to the Cefn Viaduct and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and is a great base to access Offa's Dyke National Trail, the Llangollen Canal and the Dee Valley. Rich in wildlife and organically farmed, Ty Mawr still manages hay meadows along the river in the traditional way and has all the fun of the farm, where families can delight in feeding the animals, explore the play area, or enjoy a picnic. The Visitor Centre provides further information about the Park and local Countryside activities.
