The Memorial Centre Brynteg

Welcome to The Memorial Centre Brynteg, incorporating the Memorial Hall, Library and Lifelong Learning Centre. Since its launch in September 2002 the Centre has given a new lease of life to the existing facilities and has captured the imagination of the local community.

The key element in this new venture is PARTNERSHIP between:

• The local community

• Local groups and organisations, especially Brymbo Broughton Community Training Group

• Local Authority, particularly the Library and Information Service and the Economic Development Department

• Local colleges and training providers

The Centre is the culmination of many years of hard work between members of the local community and the local authority, and represents a new departure in the provision of community facilities in Wrexham.

It consists of four main elements on the same site:

• Memorial Hall
• Library
• Lifelong Learning Centre
• Créche
