The Lifelong Learning Centre has been purpose-built to accommodate a wide range of educational and learning opportunities aimed specifically at the local community.

What exactly is on offer?

An expanding variety of short part-time courses, taster sessions, workshops and online learning, with particular focus on basic computer skills (ICT).

Is there a charge for courses?

Most courses are offered free of charge. In a few cases a fee may be applicable - please ask us.

Will I gain a qualification?

Most of our courses are accredited i.e. they can lead to a qualification. Assessment is usually informal Although flexible, the courses require a degree of commitment.

Is there an age limit?

NO!! We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds (some courses are not suitable for children).

Do I have to live in the local area to participate?

No. Although the Centre is aimed primariily at people in the local community we welcome people from the wider Wrexham area and further afield.

I'm a bit scared of computers and new technology. Is there anything for me?

We can arrange informal introductions to computer skills (ICT), on a one-to-one basis if necessary, progressing to more advanced levels.

I'm not really interested in computers. Is there anything else that I can do?

If computers are not for you we have an expanding range of general interest courses.

You don't seem to cater for my particular interest. What should I do?

Our aim is to respond to and caater for requests direct from the community. Please let us know. Your views are important to us.

I am interested in further courses and learning opportunities. Where do I go?

We are able to give advice and information on learning generally and have excellent links with local colleges.
