Fitness Classes Explained

Light circuit (at Craig Close Lounge)

A circuit class combining aerobic and strength exercise. Suitable for beginners.

Aqua aerobics

Combination of aerobic exercise performed in shallow water designed to improve fitness and tone muscles.

Liquid Combat

Intense aqua class tomkick, punch and fight your way to fitness.

Karate

Learn this traditional martial art which will also improve fitness, balance coordination and speed.

Masters swimming

An instructor led session to help you improve your stamina and technique.

Body Vive

Using the Body Vive ball and tube, enjoy this 55 minute workout which includes cardio exercise,resistance work, core training, mobility and balance.

Body Pump

A cardio Strength workout that challenges all the major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.

Fitness Bootcamp

Challenge yourself with this fast paced calorie blasting workout using the traditional boot camp style approach. Boot camp is geared to all fitness level.

Metafit

30 minute bodyweight training workout which boosts metabolism and burns fat.

Retro Step

This 45 minute workout is great for all levels. You will learn basic step moves whilst enjoying music ranging from the oldies, rock and roll and disco.

Hula Hooping

Enjoy this fun workout  that burns 250 calories per session, strengthens abdominals and sculpts thighs.

Family Hula Hooping

A chance to get involved in this fun workout alongside your children.

Zumba Tone

Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party.

Power Yoga

Is a combination of yoga and Tai Chi. This form of Yoga works with free flowing power Yoga poses. This kind of Yoga helps to increase strength and flexibility.

Legs Bums and Tums

A conditioning class for legs, bums and tums using body weight exercise and light resistance to tone and strengthen.

Pure HIIT

A challenging High Intensity Interval training class which can help burn more body fat, increase metabolism and improve fitness.
