Try a walk in Marchwiel!

The Marchwiel Footpath Project is proceeding apace. All the footpaths in the community are now free of obstructions. With the assistance of Marchwiel Environment Group, the Council's Public Rights of Way team has just finished refurbishing many stiles and gates, and cut back overgrowth to make available many previously difficult footpaths. The area covered by this work stretches from Erddig Park and Sontley in the west to Cross Lanes in the east; from King's Mill in the north to Gyfelia and Cock Bank in the south.

There is some waymarking and signposting still to be done but all paths can be followed with a map and many can be walked without a map.
