The Tennis Development Officer is aiming to provide tennis playing opportunities throughout Wrexham County Borough for people of all ages and abilities.
Provide opportunities to start playing the game through schools, clubs and other venues
Create opportunities for all players to reach their full tennis playing potential
Create opportunities for teachers, players, parents to teach tennis through coach education courses
Attract and promote a full range of competitive opportunities for local players to participate in or watch high quality tennis locally
Wrexham has 6 Tennis Clubs for adults and juniors an indoor tennis centre and park and leisure centre courts which are available to hire.

What is Mini Tennis?
Mini Tennis is a coluorful, fun packed game specially designed to grow with Kids as their skills develop.
How can I play tennis tournament?
Wrexham has a full calendar of events for all ages and abilities. Individual and team events are held at Clubs, Schools and the Tennis Centre. For more information on local events and how to get involved, contact the Tennis Development Officer.
Learning Tennis Where can I get tennis lessons?
Individual and group coaching sessions are available at most of the tennis venues in Wrexham for information that is more specific contact the venues or the Tennis Development Officer.
How can my son / daughter start tennis and develop their game?
No matter of age or ability their will be a session suitable for you. Schools, Clubs and the Tennis Centre have a wide range of groups and individual sessions for new players to the game. The Tennis Centre also has a performance programme that is run by Phil Leighton for those players aspiring to become professional players.
