Sports Sponsorship

 

As part of our commitment to ensure that talented young athletes are given every opportunity to progress in their chosen sport Wrexham's Leisure and Recreation Department have two schemes that can help.

Sports Sponsorship

Young talented individuals can apply for individual grants to help them with their expenses.

Sports Sponsership Criteria

  1. Applications should be in respect of individuals rather than groups.

  2. Applicants should preferably be under 25 years of age, in full time education or training.

  3. Applicants should be resident within Wrexham County or have connections with the area.

  4. Successful applicants in return for reasonable expenses should be prepared to attend a Wrexham County Borough Council event once a year.

  5. The Council reserves the right to consult any organisation either local or national in connection with an application.

  6. Applicants should be talented sports persons of county, national or international standard or be considered to have the potential to reach such books.
