Country Park Volunteers

The rangers undertake a variety of practical tasks maintaining and improving the country parks.

Ty Mawr Country Park welcomes volunteers to help with animal work such as feeding, cleaning stables, taking the animals out each morning and bringing them in each evening. Alyn Waters is a large Country Park, with extensive woodland, volunteers are welcome to help carry out practical conservation work. As volunteers may at times be working with children, it is necessary for the Council to perform standard checks with the police before accepting anyone as a volunteer.
