The People Power climate change campaign has been launched by Wrexham County Borough Council with the aim of drastically reducing the County Borough's overall energy consumption, while saving people a few quid off their bills at the same time.

Solar Power Wrexham

As part of its People Power campaign - which is aiming to cut carbon and slash energy use across the borough - Wrexham Council is installing solar photovoltaics (PV) panels on up to 3000 council-owned properties.

Waste Awareness Wales

Waste Awareness Wales is a joint Welsh Local Government Association and Keep Wales Tidy project funded by the Welsh Assembly Government. Waste Awareness Wales has been established to promote the 3R's of reduce, reuse and recycling of rubbish across Wales.
