Church of St James, Rhosddu, Wrexham The Church of Saint James was built in 1874 to designs of W Turner of Wrexham and extended by the addition of a chancel and south porch in 1875, and designated as a parish church in 1886.
The exterior is rusticated coursed and squared rubble Cefn sandstone with ashlar dressings and slate roof, banded in two colours and with terracotta ridge cresting.
It is listed as a good local example of the small scale church building which characterised urban expansion towards the end of the 19th Century and retaining many original or early fittings.
