Go Safe

This is the name for the Wales Road Casualty Reduction Partnership, whose aim is to reduce the number of people killed and injured on Welsh roads through speed and red light camera enforcement, as well as via education. It comprises the six North Wales councils, North Wales Police, the Crown Prosecution Service, Her Majesty’s Courts Service, the National Public Health Service for Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government.

Each of the six North Wales authorities has a Safer Roads Officer, who works for this partnership. They educate and engage with local road users about safety camera enforcement and road safety. Wrexham’s Safer Roads Officer is based within the Road Safety team.
