Senior Support Worker 1 x 37-hour permanent position / 1 x 18.5-hour permanent position G07 - £23,836– £25,295 (pro-rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Recovery Service for dynamic, self-motivated people committed to making a positive difference to the lives of people in our community.

We help individuals who have mental ill health to maintain their tenancies and live independently within their own homes; feel a part of their community; maximise their wellbeing and achieve their personal goals.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will supervise Support Workers. You will be a confident leader and work closely with colleagues to develop skills and provide support to ensure the highest quality person-centred service is delivered.

The successful candidate will hold QCF 3 in Health & Social Care (or 2 and be willing to obtain 3 in set timescale); have good interpersonal skills; be able to communicate effectively; and have the ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritise.

They should have experience of working with people with mental ill health and/or disabilities. Previous leadership experience is desirable.
