Vacancy Details

Senior PIPS Officer (FTP-EXT)

Senior Performance, Improvement and Partnerships Officer (Partnerships) G10 £32,878 - £35,934 Full time, 37 hours per week (Permanent)

If you enjoy working at a corporate level and in partnership with others, and have excellent planning and project management experience, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge.

This post will be based within the Performance, Improvement and Partnerships Service (PIPS), and will primarily perform functions within the ‘partnerships’ remit of the service. Key elements of our partnership work include community safety and community cohesion, and so experience in these areas would be a great advantage.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential in this role, along with the ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative. You will need to be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the Authority and partners such as North Wales Police and third sector partners as the work crosses organisational boundaries and hierarchies. A pro-active, flexible and strategic approach to work is vital. In return we can offer you an opportunity to work in a fast paced, friendly, working environment. This is a full time, permanent post. It is based in Wrexham town centre but may involve some travel. For further information and an informal chat, please contact Rachel Penman (PIPS Manager – Partnerships), by telephone 01978 292283, or email Rachel.penman@wrexham.gov.uk.

For an application pack, please contact the HR Service Centre, Guildhall, Wrexham, by telephone 01978 292012, Text relay: 18001 01978 292012 or email hrservicecentre@wrexham.gov.uk or download and complete the pdf application form available on the web page.
