An Annual Report on Social Services in Wrexham was presented to the Council's Executive Board on 5 July 2011 on behalf of the Statutory Director of Social Services. The Report gives information on services provided and describes the key improvements and achievements made to services in 2010/11. It also details areas for further improvement in 2011/12.

02.08.11 Out of Wonder - Tom Groll (Eisteddfod art)
Wrexham hosts two major lighting installations commissioned to celebrate the National Eisteddfod. Tom Groll, the award-winning artist from Germany, displays his lighting projects for the first time in Wales. The installations are projected onto St.Giles and TK Maxx between the hours of 10.30pm – 1.30am, 29 July – 7 August 2011.
