Welcome to the website of the Children and Young People's Framework Partnership.
The Framework Partnership brings together a range of partners from a range of different agencies all of which are united in their determination to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families in Wrexham.
These partners include people from Wrexham Council, local voluntary organisations, the Local Health Board, the North East Wales Health Trust, the National Health Protection Service, the Police and the Probation Service.
The Children and Young People's Framework Partnership is the over-arching partnership and it includes a Children’s Partnership (which focuses on issues relating to children aged 0 – 11) and a Young People’s Partnership (which focuses on issues relating to young people aged 11 – 25.
The Framework Partnership has recently been re-organised to streamline it and make it more effective. It now has Strategic Co-ordinating Groups (SCoGs) to manage and monitor the Framework partnership's work. These are the:
Each SCoG in turn then has a number of Task-and-Finish Groups and other linked groups working on a range of issues.
Over time we will make sure that the dates of the key meetings are published here along with contact information for the SCoGs and the various Task-and-Finish Groups. All the notes of the meetings of the different groups, and useful documents will be posted here too.
