Public Service Ombudsman for Wales Reports

On 09 July 2018, the Council has received a special report from the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales issued under Section 22. The report is as a result of the Council failing to remedy errors within its welsh council tax documentation, despite agreeing to do so based on a previous complaint.

The Council has accepted the recommendations of this report. We apologise for the errors identified from the investigation and we are currently in the process of addressing the recommendations, including contacting the complainant directly. The Council is committed to compliance with the welsh language standards but accept that on this occasion we failed to do so.
