Explanation of Statistics Columns
Expected / Member: The number of meetings that the Councillor was expected to attend in their capacity as a member of a committee.
Present: The number of meetings that the Councillor attended in their capacity as a member of that committee.
In attendance: The number of meetings that the Councillor attended in a capacity other than committee member, for example, attending a meeting out of personal interest or because a topic being discussed affects a Members' ward.
Meetings Included/Not Included
The statistics cover Members' attendance at the core political structure meetings and other internal bodies to which formal appointments are made. The statistics do not include attendance at Outside Body meetings to which formal appointments are made nor any non core political structure meetings such as between officers and Members concerning ward or Lead Member/portfolio issues etc.
