Head of Service ICT
The Head of Service ICT is a key role for us.
If you’re appointed, you’ll lead on the design, development and delivery of our ICT services in accordance with statutory frameworks, council plans, policies and priorities.
You’ll help lead on how we manage change within the organisation – facilitating innovation and continuous improvement.
You’ll be required to:
- Develop alternative options on how services could be commissioned and delivered, aligning with key corporate outcomes and objectives.
- Ensure services delivered by the department are based on proper assessment of the needs and wishes of service-users in line with the objectives of the council.
- Provide expert strategic advice in all matters relating to ICT to the heads of department, strategic leadership and management teams, councillors, officers and partners.
Wrexham County Borough Council is the largest employer in Wrexham.
The total turnover is in excess of £375m and the capital programme is around £60m.
We currently have around 6,000 staff.
Salary and benefits
The Head of Service ICT has a salary range of £49,798 – £52,545 per annum.
