The Community Resource Centre is a newly constructed building on the site of the former Community Centre and Gwersyllt library which was funded by Urban II and the Welsh Assembly Government’s Local Regeneration Fund. It brings together a whole host of agencies involved in delivering the regeneration proposals for the area. The centre includes a library and information service, a specially equipped area for under 5’s and a youth facility.

The centre provides modern facilities for meetings and conferences or workshops.

Meeting rooms

1 medium room catering for up to 40 people with dedicated toilets, equipped with TV and DVD, data projector, overhead projector (OHP) and flipcharts, Staging for lectures which are available on request. Half a Hall (x2) catering for up to 50 people equipped with laptop, data projector, OHP and flipcharts, Staging for lectures which are available on request.

IT Suite

Computer suite with 16 PCs, laser printer, free internet access, scanner, office and presentation software.

Main hall

Large, modern hall with accommodation for up to 150 people (seated). Staging for lectures and concerts. Flooring is semi sprung wood and is suitable for leisure activities, fitness and light sports. Equipped with laptop, data projector, overhead projector and flipcharts which are available on request.

Crèche Facilities

Self-contained, fully equipped crèche available for organized groups of up to 16 children.

Kitchen

Large kitchen with domestic catering facilities.
