Our mobile library travels to areas in Wrexham that aren’t within easy reach of a branch library, so you don’t have to miss out.
Where and how often?
It goes to over 70 locations, visiting each destination once every three weeks. To find out which specific sites it goes to and when, see the route schedules below.
What does it have?
You’ll find an extensive, regularly updated book selection with a range of fiction, non-fiction (including popular bestsellers) for both adults and children. There’s even large print and audio books available.
A lift is available to give easy access to the mobile library for those who require it. The free reservation service gives you access to any item in stock in our libraries.
You can request items through the mobile library staff, or by using the online library catalogue (you’ll need a PIN number to do this).
How do I join?
To join you’ll need to bring proof of identification and complete a simple form. If you’ve already joined another library within the county there’s no need to rejoin – just bring your current library card.
Route schedules
If the mobile library has to cancel stops for some reason (e.g. vehicle breakdown, severe weather), the staff will do their best to contact you or a contact person in the community.
If you'd like to help by becoming a contact person please let the library staff know.
