Wrexham Council’s pay policy statement is reviewed and published annually, in line with Chapter 8 of the Localism Act 2011. The statement explains how we pay our employees, particularly senior staff ('chief officers') and the lowest paid employees.
The statement must:
- be approved by Full Council
- be prepared and approved before the end of March annually (initial publication 2012)
- come into force and be complied with from the date of its approval
- be published on the relevant authorities’ website
