Permissions to use the public highway for hoarding or Heras fencing are granted by the issue of licences and permits by ourselves as the Highway Authority under the Highways Act 1980.

Hoarding/Heras fencing licence cost

The cost for a licence for hoarding or Heras fencing is £70 per week. No refunds will be given after the start date of the permit.

What happens next?

When your application is made it will first need to be assessed to ensure its eligibility. If your application is approved you will receive email confirmation of this including any specific site requirements and a link to make the payment for the permit. Once payment has been made then your permit is ‘live’ for use as permitted.
