Ways to Pay

Wrexham County Borough Council is committed to making services more user-friendly and accessible.

As part of our on-going development programme we offer a range of payment methods for Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Rents and Sundry debts securely to the Council.

Direct Debit

The safest and most convenient way for you to pay is by Direct Debit. You save time and there are no cheques to write, no cash to pay, no posting letters or queuing at counters.

You can always be assured with Direct Debit that you are guaranteed an immediate refund in the unlikely event of a mistake being made.

You can set up a Direct Debit in one of the following four ways:

  1. Pick up and complete a mandate form at Contact Wrexham, 16 Lord Street, Wrexham.
  2. Phone up and request a mandate form from the appropriate section.
  3. Print a form from the list below, complete and sign it, and drop it off or post it to one of our offices. The forms can be completed electronically but you will need to print them out and sign them before returning.

Online Payments

Internet Banking

You can pay via your own internet banking page by quoting our bank details which are sort code 20-25-77 and number 43626725. You must ensure you quote your payment reference number.

Telephone Payments

You can make payments to Wrexham County Borough Council, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by using the digital telephone payment option.

By telephoning 0300 3336500, and following the simple instructions, payments can be made using your credit or debit card by keying in the appropriate numbers.
