Sales - Attracting New Customers

Buyers buy when they see a direct link between a need, goal or problem they have and your product or service. They will buy from YOU specifically if they feel confident you are better than your nearest competitors Where there is desire there can be a sale. When you don't grab attention and build desire there is no sale or the buyer chooses someone else. Knowing you are the best option is not enough. You need to be able to get that message across to your customers. In this half day workshop you will learn how to: •Grab attention and directly link your product or service to desire •Show buyers how you are better than your competitors •Deal with the fear of buyer remorse •Understand the difference value makes between ability and willingness to pay

Exporting Goods and Services – VAT Implications

Businesses wanting to explore or expand their Export activities need to be aware of the requirements for ensuring sufficient exportevidence is held as this is closely monitored by HMRC and there is a recent trend of significant VAT assessments being raised on this aspect. Understanding the VAT rules for exporting your goods or services from the UK is vital to avoid unplanned VAT costs. It is an issue whether you sell to private consumers via an eCommerce platform or direct to businesses outside of the UK. Major VAT changes will impact on the Digital Services business sector from Jan 2015 and this will affect both on businesses that devise ecommerce platforms for others and businesses that offer digital services - whether these are downloaded “apps” or music to online distance learning packages. This course will cover a wide spectrum of the VAT issues on goods and services exported from the UK and would be a great introduction or refresher for businesses who look to export. Feedback from previous events is that logistics and sales directors/managers would benefit from understanding the VAT issues not just finance based delegates. Course Content: • Basic VAT rules • Supplies into the EU ?Distance Selling • Overview of VAT across Members states: Rates and Rules • Triangulation: a basic introduction • Stock Held overseas • Supplies outside the EU • Tax point Rules • Export evidence for goods • Supplies of services including on line supplies • Statistical Reporting & European Sales Lists • Reclaim of non UK VAT

New Tae Kwon Do Centre opening in Wrexham

Students and staff at Ady Jones’ Tae Kwon Do Academy are thrilled to have a new dedicated training venue open in Wrexham. Based on Wrexham Industrial Estate, the Family Martial Arts Centre is the first of its kind to open in Wrexham, and boasts a fully matted training area of over 2,400 square feet, as well as a fully enclosed mezzanine viewing area and cafe, changing facilities and a gym area. Dedicated to providing the highest quality of coaching and instruction, Master Ady Jones has a 6th Degree Black Belt and is a multiple World, European and National Champion. Ady says: “We are opening a facility that is much needed in the area and will benefit the Wrexham community, there is nothing else comparable to it in the whole of North Wales and with Tae Kwon Do being the UK’s fastest growing Martial Art, our town and the surrounding area was in much need of a safe and positive environment for adults and children to learn this fantastic sport.” Classes are available 7 days per week, with a full timetable that caters for children aged 3 years and up through to adults. Family classes are also available, so you can spend some quality time with the kids whilst learning new skills and keeping fit at the same time. The new centre will be hosting an open weekend on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September between 10am & 4pm Ady says all are welcome to stop by for a visit and see the new facilities.
