Dyfed-Powys Police

The official Dyfed-Powys Police website, our purpose is to maintain for the public of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys a top quality Police Service, which meets their reasonable expectations and provides good value for money.

Gwent Police

Gwent Police cover an area of 384 488 acres bounded by Abergavenny in the North, Newport in the South, Chepstow in the East and Caerphilly in the West. The Gwent policing area is mixed, rural and urban, and the road network carries large volumes of traffic through the M4 link to the East, which now incorporates the Second Severn Crossing.

North Wales Police

North Wales Police are responsible for policing a large geographical area, which is home to approximately 657,000 people. We cover large rural regions, busy towns, 2 cities and the Snowdonia National Park, all of which require very specific types of policing support. There is also the ferry port on Anglesey, a number of significant tourist areas, and the industrial regions of the eastern side, which are experiencing a surge in development.

South Wales Police Authority

South Wales Police covers an area of around 812 square miles, which although only representing 10% of the geographical area of Wales, is the home to 1,225,900 people, around 42% of the country's whole population.

Association of Police Authorities

The Association of Police Authorities was set up on 1st April 1997 to represent police authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, both on the national stage and locally. It influences policy on policing and it supports local police authorities in their important role.
