Organisations you can contact for advice
Shelter Cymru advisers are experts in housing law and are available to give advice at several venues in Wrexham town centre (some venues are appointment only).
You can also call their housing advice helpline on 0345 075 5005 (Monday to Friday, from 9.30am – 4pm).
Citizens Advice Bureau
Citizen’s Advice Bureau offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person on a range of matters - including housing issues.

You can also contact an adviser through their national phone service ‘Adviceline’, on 03444 111 444 (available 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
Domestic Abuse Safety Unit (DASU)
DASU is a charity that provides advice and support to men, women and children affected by domestic abuse.
A homeless night shelter project with 16 beds available for those who are homeless and are over the age of 18. Open 8pm to 8am, 365 days a year.
During severe cold weather any rough sleeper who arrives at Tŷ Nos from 8pm, and is eligible, will be provided accommodation at either Tŷ Nos, St John’s or an alternative venue.

If you're concerned about someone sleeping rough...
You can use the below methods to help alert us and/or outreach services about people that may be sleeping rough and are in need of help.
You can use the StreetLink website or StreetLink mobile app to send an alert about someone sleeping rough that you’re concerned about. Providing as much detail as possible gives the outreach team in the Wrexham area a better chance to locate the person and offer support.
