Shelter Cymru

Shelter Cymru advisers are experts in housing law and are available to give advice at several venues in Wrexham town centre (some venues are appointment only).

Citizens Advice Bureau

Citizen’s Advice Bureau offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person on a range of matters - including housing issues.

Domestic Abuse Safety Unit (DASU)

DASU is a charity that provides advice and support to men, women and children affected by domestic abuse.

You can use the below methods to help alert us and/or outreach services about people that may be sleeping rough and are in need of help.


You can use the StreetLink website or StreetLink mobile app to send an alert about someone sleeping rough that you’re concerned about. Providing as much detail as possible gives the outreach team in the Wrexham area a better chance to locate the person and offer support.

The Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) outlines the measures that we and our key partners have in place for people sleeping rough in Wrexham during severe cold weather.
