Child work permits All children aged between 13 and school leaving age will need a permit to work. Child performance licences A child under school leaving age needs a licence to be involved in a production. There are occasions where they can apply for an exemption. Chaperone licences Any child who is involved in a production must also be supervised by either a parent, legal guardian or local authority registered chaperone.
