All civil weddings and civil partnerships must be attended by a superintendent registrar and a registrar in the district where the ceremony will take place.
If your ceremony is at an approved venue in Wrexham, a registrar of the district of Wrexham will need to attend.
Your provisional booking only keeps a time slot for a registrar to attend your ceremony. Your marriage or civil partnership cannot take place until your notices have been given (check our ‘giving notice’ page).
How to book
You will need to confirm a date and preferred time with an approved venue, or with our register office (this is subject to availability).
Once a date is confirmed please email ceremonies@wrexham.gov.uk with the following information:
- Names of the couple
- Name of the venue
- Date and time of the ceremony
- Best contact number
You will need to pay a non-refundable booking reservation fee at the time of booking (we will confirm the amount when you contact us).
