Safe In The Home Scheme

The scheme brings together the council and other partners such as North Wales Police, Trading Standards, Neighbourhood Wardens, Etc, to target the Vulnerable and elderly to feel safe and secure in their home. The scheme provides advice and target hardening measures for security with a single point of contact.

Policy

Non-means tested 100% financial assistance up to a maximum of £500

Eligibility

(a)  persons over 60 years of age who have experienced house or distraction burglary or have
      been a victim of bogus callers
(b)  surviving spouses or partners dues to bereavement
