18 March 2021 North Wales Adoption Service (NWAS) is a collaboration of six local authority adoption agencies: Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Ynys Mon. We carry out legal duties as an Adoption Service on behalf of the six local authorities and also provide a range of services that relate to adoption.
We are committed to working with, and supporting residents to get involved with housing issues and the services we provide. We recognise that effective resident participation needs to have a wide range of people involved in many different activities.

The role of the Trading Standards Service is to promote and maintain a fair and safe trading environment for consumers and businesses. We enforce and advise on a wide range of consumer laws relating to the sale and supply of goods and services. We are supported by a range of other agencies in delivering these services.
At Wrexham Council we do not deliver all the services for children and young people that are funded by us. Some services are delivered by other organisations on our behalf.
